Welcome to SchoolNet. By using our mobile or web applications ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, signing in, or using SchoolNet in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the Service on behalf of a school, you represent that you have authority to bind that school to these terms.
2. Description of the Service
SchoolNet is a school management and learning platform that allows teachers, students, parents, and administrators to manage assignments, notes, announcements, timetables, and results. Access and features depend on your role and school membership.
3. Account and Eligibility
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account.
- Student accounts may be created and managed by schools. Parents may link to children's accounts as permitted by the app.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws.
- Share, post, or transmit content that is harmful, abusive, harassing, or otherwise objectionable.
- Impersonate another person or entity.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers.
- Use the Service to distribute malware or spam.
5. Content and Ownership
- Your content: You retain ownership of content you create (assignments, notes, etc.). By posting it, you grant us a license to store, display, and process it as needed to provide the Service.
- Our content: SchoolNet, including its design, features, and branding, is owned by Orion13 Technologies. You may not copy, modify, or reverse-engineer the Service.
6. School Policies
Your school may have additional policies that apply to your use of the Service. You agree to follow those policies when using SchoolNet for school-related activities.
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms. You may delete your account at any time from within the app. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends, but content you created may remain as per school policies.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Use at your own risk.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Orion13 Technologies shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms of Use. We will notify you of material changes via the app or email. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
